Today I searched for Google Reader and found it has been discontinued. However, Google provided a link to its alternatives. http://alternativeto.net/software/google-reader/   Clicking on this link, hundreds of RSS Feed Aggregators showed up, with the numbers of likes by people. In the list, Feedly is on the top with 1193 likes, a little over Inoreader with 1032 likes, at this point of time of the day.

Feedly-An excellent information aggregator

Today I tried Feedly and found it is a very convenient information aggregator tool. It enables me to read all the good educational technology resources in one place. I have been using Twitter to follow some pioneers in educational technology. By using Feedly, I have access to various resources including websites, blogs, wikispaces, Twitter, etc. I would not have to log into different accounts or websites to read all of them. Feedly also has the "save" function which allows you to save the article to read later if you don't have enough time to finish it.

Blogger: How to edit Blog Title, Post Title, Header, and number of posts displayed

It took me a while to figure out how to change the color and font of the blog title, post title, and header of Blogger. Here are the steps:
1. Log into your blog. Click the "Design" on the right corner.

2. Click "Customize".

3. Click "Advanced". Then you can edit format of the page text, backgrounds, links, blog title, etc.


To edit the header of the blog, click "Design" on the up-right corner, then click Layout, and click "Edit" under the Header. Now you will be able to add your blog title, blog description, and upload an image.
